chemps2 software package provides Executable to call libchemps2-2 from the command line, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install chemps2
chemps2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the chemps2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep chemps2 *
You will get with chemps2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
